Our Mash Controllers

Our mash controllers are available in 110V and 220V versions. Both versions support a separate 110V switch controlled pump circuit and a temperature settable alarm. The pump operates independent of the temperature controller to allow your wort circulation even when the heater is not on. To operate, twist the red master shut-off button clockwise until it pops out a little, turn your circulating pump on and then set your mash temperature through the PID controller. To turn off, press the red master shut-off button in until it clicks. And in the case of an emergency, pressing the red button or hitting it with the palm of your hand will shut down your controller and disconnect all line power from your heating element and from your wort circulation pump.

Our 220V mash controllers ship standard with a long 12 Ft. 10 Gauge power cords and your choice of a 3 prong dryer plug, a 4 prong dryer plug, a L6-30 twist lock power plug or a L14-30 twist lock power plug. Power out from our 220V mash controller to your heating element is through a L6-30 twist lock outlet. Power to control your circulating pump is through a standard house style outlet. These controllers are rated for a range of heating elements from 1000 Watts to 6000 Watts and most customers use them to power 5500 Watt water heater style elements. Many of our 220V mash controllers have been used to run RIMS Tubes, Mash Tuns and Blichmann Rims-rockets. Our L6-30 twist lock outlet is compatible with Blichmann’s 220V Rims-rocket power plug.

220V Mash

Our 110V mash controllers ship with a heavy duty power cord and plug. Power out to your heating element is through a standard house style outlet or a NEMA L5-20 twist lock outlet. Power to control your circulating pump is through a standard house style outlet. These controllers are rated for a range of heating elements from 300 Watts to 2000 Watts and most customers use them to power 110V 1400 Watt water heater style elements in RIMS Tubes. Many of our 110V mash controllers have been used to run RIMS Tubes, Mash Tuns and Blichmann Rims-rockets. Our L5-20 twist lock outlet is compatible with Blichmann’s 110V Rims-rocket power plug.
